What types of Card which Shinhan Bank issues?
Shinhan Bank issues Classic Debit Card, Gold Debit Card and Corporate Debit Card.
What is Classic Debit Card, Gold Debit Card and Corporate Debit Card?
Classic Debit Card is referred to the Card issued by Shinhan Bank which allow you to facilitate your payments at any merchant, cash withdrawal at any ATM worldwide where VISA is accepted and receive special discounts at many outlets in Cambodia where the business partnership logo is displayed.
Gold Debit Card has the same functions as Classic Debit Card, but it is allowed to increase credit limit up to USD 20,000 while Classic Debit Card is not.
Corporate Debit Card is a card which issued by Shinhan Bank base on the agreement with corporate business operator, organization or association (company name card/ staff name card).
What is the different between Debit Card and Credit Card?
For a Debit Card, you can make payment everywhere and every time by using your own cash which is deposited in your own bank account. If the cash in your account is empty, you cannot make payment by your Debit Card.
With a Credit Card, you can use without balance in your account.

What are criteria needed to apply for Shinhan Visa Debit Card?
Application (s) must be at least 18-year old for principle cardholder and 16-year old for supplementary cardholder.
Enclose valid NID for Cambodian or passport has to be at least 3 months valid Visa for foreigner.
How long will it take to get my Debit Card?
If your application is successfully, you will normally receive your card in 07 to 15 business days through the exact time may vary upon the holiday fall.
What should I do if my Card was lost/ stolen?
In case your card was lost/ stolen, you should block your card immediately via SOL mobile banking or please kindly go to our nearest branch or contact customer service 023 955 001/002 anytime.
How do I renew my Shinhan Visa Debit Card?
Prior to the expiry date which display on your card, you need to visit the nearest Shinhan branch to request to renew your card.
What happened if I type Wrong PIN?
If you type wrong PIN 5 times, the system will automatically block your card. In this case, you need to go to any nearest Shinhan branches or contact our 24/7 hotlines via 023 955 001/002 to reset the attempted PIN.
What should I do if I forgot my PIN?
Please visit the nearest Shinhan branch to request new PIN.
What should I do if there are transactions charged to my card which were not authorized by me?
Please report it immediately via 023 955 001/002 to block the card as soon as possible. If your card is lost, stolen, or if fraudulent transactions have been made then later you need to go to any nearest Shinhan branches to fill in an Investigation Form for the unauthorized transactions.
Do I sign or enter a PIN to authorize my transaction?
Most of the time when making purchase with your Visa Debit Card, you will be asked to sign the transaction receipt to authorize the transaction and debit to your account. However, if you use your Visa Debit card via ATMs, you will be asked to enter a PIN to authorize the transaction.
